The flagship service of The Scuba Registry, gear registration is the first step in protecting yourself and increasing the odds of recovering your lost or stolen gear. The process is very simple and the benefits should you ever need them are great.

When you register as a member you have access to your Virtual Gearbag . Gather your gear, identify your serial numbers and enter the rquired information for each piece. Should any registered piece of gear go missing you can log into your profile area and select "submit report". Simply check the items in your Virtual Gearbag, enter the info about the piece (include as much detail as possible) and submit your report. Your "Gear Alert®" message is automatically posted on the homepage of our website and sent via email to every member of The Scuba Registry as well as all subscribed dive shops, resorts and instructors.

The serial number is logged as "missing" and selling that piece of gear becomes more difficult if not impossible. We are sending a clear message to thieves everywhere that The Scuba Registry is in business to put them out of business.
